All pieces are handcrafted using quality materials combining both traditional and contemporary millinery techniques. Prices start at £80 with larger pieces costing no more than £350
Make an appointment to come to the studio with your special outfit. Appointments take around an hour and can be booked during the week, evenings and weekends. You can try on different shapes and colours to get ideas about what suits your shape and colouring, Clare will show you different materials and can order in samples too. Materials can be hand-dyed to match your outfit exactly, and trims – such as flowers – can even incorporate fabric from your dress for a perfectly coordinated look.
Once we have agreed on a final design, a 50% deposit is required to cover the cost of the materials. Once the deposit has been received, work can start immediately on your beautiful new design. All headwear is personally crafted by Clare from her home studio in Derby. It will take between 2-6 weeks to make your finished piece and but updates can be provided on the progress being made periodically.
Once your new hat is finished we will let you know, and you can visit the studio for a final fitting. Any minor alterations can be made so that you feel 100% happy with the finished piece. The final balance is payable before you take the hat away. Enjoy your day and make sure to send us lots of photos of you in your special outfit.
